Do I have to be German to participate in TC Germanfest?

NEIN! You can be of any individual heritage or combination of heritages! Some of us don't even know what our heritage is! We just think it's just fun to bask in the uniqueness of a specific culture.

Do I have to be Lutheran to participate in TC Germanfest activities?

NEIN, NEIN! You do not have to be Lutheran. It is probably a good idea to be hungry though...the food is delicious and don't even get us started on those pretzels!!

What should I wear? (Do I have to dress up?)

Some people go all out with the lederhosen and dirndls while some cruise in wearing jeans. Wear what you want! Just keep an eye on the forecast...it is late September in northern Michigan, so anything can happen!

Can I buy tickets at the door?

Ja! Tickets can be purchased for $65 after 9/20 or at the door until we run out. (But, they're more expensive and I wouldn't take any chances.)
